Distributionally Robust Coordinated Operation of Microgrid Under PV Uncertainty

A microgrid (MG) consisting of distributed generations, combined cooling, heat and power (CCHP) plants and energy storage systems can have higher energy efficiency. However, the uncertainty of renewable power generation seriously affects the secure and stable operation of MG. To duel with this problem and alleviate the disadvantages of traditional robust methods that are too conservative, this paper proposed a distributionally robust coordinated operation model of MG which adapt the Wasserstein metric-based ambiguity set to capture the uncertainty of PV power generation. A tractable form of the model is deduced via the linear decision rule (LDR) method and dual theory. The proposed approach is verified to be more economical and less conservative than other methods in a modified IEEE 33-bus system. Moreover, the solution testing by Monte Carlo simulations shows high operating robustness against uncertainty.
