Prescribed performance and anti-noise control of airbreathing hypersonic vehicle with AOA constraint

Due to the scramjet equipped on airbreathing hypersonic vehicle (AHV), a serious coupling between flight and propulsion system occurs. Meanwhile the problem of model perturbation and measurement noise is notable during the long range ballistic flight. In order to ensure the flight safety, a robust anti-noise prescribed performance control scheme for AHV with AOA constraint is presented. First, the AOA constraint during ballistic flight is solved according to the air inlet condition, and the transient process of AOA tracking is designed based on the prescribed performance control theory combined with the exponential function. Then a new nonlinear extended state observer (NESO) based on cascade is introduced to suppress the peaking phenomenon of the traditional high gain observer, nonlinear gain tuning mechanism is introduced to improve the anti-noise ability of the observer. The Lyapunov stability of above control system is proved to ensure the safety of AHV during cruise flight theoretically. Finally, a simulation comparison between the prescribed performance control system and the robust-ADRC system is given. The results show that the prescribed performance control system can ensure AOA within the prescribed boundary to meet the demand on the air inlet condition, and has more reliable robust security guarantee with better command tracking performance in the engineering noise environment as well.
