Consensus issues for networked wave equations with directed communication topology

This paper is concerned with the consensus problems for a network of agents with different dynamics formulated by wave equations. For fixed digraphs describing the communication topology, two kinds of distributed control protocols are developed with the aim of guaranteeing the leaderless consensus and containment control. Several criteria are derived in terms of Lyapunov functions, wherein the properties of algebraic connectivity are employed to handle the asymmetric interaction matrices. Some numerical simulations are carried out to support the theoretical results.
