Optimal Configuration of Hybrid Energy Storage Capacity Based on Northern Goshawk Optimization

The power fluctuation caused by uncertain factors such as wind-solar energy generation will harm the power quality of the power grid. To improve the power quality and system economy, a capacity optimization configuration method of hybrid energy storage for a wind-solar complementary power generation system is proposed. Firstly, the model is established with the minimum life cycle cost as the objective function, and the load power shortage rate and energy storage energy constraints as constraints. Then, the model is solved by the Northern Goshawk Optimization. Finally, an example simulation is carried out in MATLAB. The experimental results show that the scheme solved by the Northern Goshawk Optimization reduces the system cost and improves the convergence speed. In addition, it also reduces the optimization fluctuation range of the optimal value and improves the optimization stability. Therefore, the correctness of this algorithm is verified.
