On Clustering Trend in Language Evolution Based on Dynamical Behaviors of Multi-Agent Model

Computational models are widely used to overcome the constraints of language evolution time and convert language theory into rules of computer models, which is very helpful to investigate the universal laws of language evolution. This paper designs a multi-agent model to simulate the evolution of human language. Language characteristics of every node should evolve under the influence of its own inherent trends and neighboring nodes in the lattice. By carrying out computational experiment and analysis, we found that the human languages in various settlements converge into several clusters with the gradual deepening of the evolution, which gave us a deeper understanding of the collective evolution in nature.
