Design of anti-pinch control strategy for vehicle sunroof based on Hall motor

Due to the design defects of the anti-pinch algorithm or strategy of the automotive sunroof, the anti-pinch function is easily affected by voltage, temperature, and adhesive strip aging during the motion, which makes the sunroof mistakenly reversed and unable to close or the anti-pinch fails. In this paper, the motor motion state is judged by obtaining the Hall state and current information of the sunroof, and the interference factors such as voltage and temperature are combined with adaptive learning to set the anti-pinching thresholds for different motion regions of the sunroof. The test bench validation shows that the gradient anti-pinch threshold considering disturbance factors can be applied to a variety of sunroof anti-pinch conditions and makes the effective rate of this sunroof anti-pinch control strategy improve, and the standard anti-pinch situation reaches 90.48%.
