Methodology for creating geoportals of local self-government bodies using geoinformation systems

The article examines the application of GIS technologies by local self-government bodies, which enables management, inventory, assessment and monitoring of the state of use of land resources, as well as provision of up-to-date cartographic materials. The creation and distribution of open geospatial data, which is available for direct download through ESRI corporate geoportals using the ArcGIS Online geoinformation system, is presented. For this purpose, an example of the creation of the Instant Apps application from ArcGIS Online is shown, which displays information about the sown area and the gross harvest of wheat in the section of the districts of the Lviv region for the year 2021. With the help of the Dashboards control panel from ArcGIS Online, information on the cultivation of corn in the districts of the Lviv region during 2021 is presented. It has been proven that the application of geoinformation systems in the practice of state and local administration through the creation of web maps, geoportals and dashboards visualizes geographic information and data that allow decision-making, informing users and forecasting the development trends of territories.
