Study on Carbon Fixation Based on Carbon Sequestration Model

At present, the global climate has changed significantly. The impact of greenhouse gases on global climate has become a consensus, and CO2 as the most important greenhouse gas has attracted more and more attention. In this paper, carbon sequestration model was established to compare carbon fixation under different cutting conditions. By establishing a decision-making model, the most efficient forest management scheme is proposed for forest managers. Based on the relative growth model, we use the average method, through the biomass equation to calculate the related constant, to construct a carbon storage model. Furthermore, based on the carbon sequestration model, the decision-making model was employed to find the transition point of the forest. Finally, we conclude that after applying the carbon sequestration model, we took 5% of deforestation after 77 years as the maximum value for deforestation. At this point, we can not only achieve carbon fixation, but also protect forest biodiversity and ensure the water-saving capacity of forests. At the same time, we can also provide more wood for the production of wood products. We consider this the most effective forest management plan and the best balance point.
