Industry Applications of Behavioral Models in Wireless System Design

In this paper we show how power amplifier behavioral models are used in the design of wireless base-station transmitters, in an industrial context. The models are used for rapid system-level evaluation to speed up the system design process significantly, and not as a behavioral model development exercise. Several examples are presented.
