Optimal allocation strategy of energy storage under carbon trading mechanism counting and demand response

Aiming at the problems of wind and light abandonment and grid-connected power shortage caused by the randomness and volatility of new energy output, it is necessary to configure reasonable energy storage to ensure the system to consume the surplus of wind and light and to reduce the power shortage, in order to better tap the demand-side adjustable potential, an optimal allocation strategy of energy storage taking into account the demand response under the carbon trading mechanism is proposed. The strategy establishes an optimal energy storage allocation model based on the demand response and carbon trading mechanism, meets the actual operation and grid-connected power demand of energy storage, takes into account the customer’s satisfaction with electricity consumption, the average time of load transfer and the environmental benefits of new energy sources, and uses particle swarm optimisation algorithms to solve the model with the optimisation goal of maximising the revenue under the scenario of new energy consumption. Comparative analysis shows that: carbon trading mechanism and demand response can significantly reduce the demand for energy storage configuration, improve the energy storage utilisation rate and new energy consumption rate, which is significantly affected by the electricity price and carbon trading price, and the development of reasonable carbon trading price and flexible electricity price can help to improve the economy of energy storage configuration, which has a positive effect on promoting the investment and construction of energy storage.
