Is Microelectronics Recognizable in Serbian School System?

This paper presents the results of multi-year activities with high school students and faculty students in the field of practical application of electronic devices. A special review is given to the Arduino courses that have been organized at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering Niš in the past 6 years. In addition to the organization of courses, the authors also conducted numerous surveys to examine the impact of practical work on the progress of students during the studies at the faculty. The ultimate goal is the correction of the curriculum in high schools and/or technical faculties.
