Research on Selection Strategy of Vertical Elevator in Super High-Rise Office Building

With the development of urbanization, the population of large cities increases and the land tends to be in short supply. Super high-rise building has gradually become one of the main building types bearing a large number of users[1]. Super high-rise building is the result of space conversion from horizontal to vertical. Whether it can be used efficiently depends on the rational design of vertical traffic, especially for office buildings. From the perspective of architectural design, taking the high-rise office building as the object, combining with the use characteristics of office building, using the “Elevate™” traffic analysis software to simulate and count the traffic flow of different zones and different combination modes, to get more accurate vertical traffic operation data, to improve the number, load, speed, control mode and other relevant elements of the elevator system and finally make judgment and propose reasonable setting suggestions for system setting. On this basis, the paper summarizes the general configuration mode and design method of the passenger elevator of the high-rise office building, which provides reference for the accurate and rapid vertical traffic decision-making of the architect and the efficient and economic core tube design.
