Flipchip Characterization for RF SOI Switch Model Improvement

Enhancing flipchip simulation accuracy is key to minimizing die spins to meet performance targets. This paper shows how characterization in a flipchip environment is key to improving RF SOI (silicon on insulator) switch models over on-wafer characterization. Characterizing the switch's coupling to ground is key in achieving simulation improvement.
