Explosive Electric Power for Mining Applications

Pulsed-power driven explosion of water or other dense media is a challenging area of research, applications, and commercialization. This work gives a simplified description of involved mechanisms and a selection of test results. Applications for mining, drilling, excavation, off-shore and on-shore are in development.
