SIR Models on Complex Networks and Impact of Vaccination

We study network models in epidemiology and different vaccination strategies to combat epidemics. The main goal is to compare the effectiveness of vaccination scenarios on complex networks with different topological structures: random, scale-free, and small-world networks. The results obtained during the study can be used to plan and evaluate disease control programs or to defend computer networks against a virus attack.
