Design of Terahertz Yagi-Uda Antenna Based on Compressed 3rd-Order Mode Dipole

A single-mode Yagi-Uda based on a compressed third-order mode dipole at Terahertz is designed in this paper. The proposed antenna is fed by a transition from Coplanar waveguide (CPW) to Coplanar stripline (CPS). A two-branch balun is used in the feeding structure to accomplish an equal amplitude of current on the two arms of the dipole and a phase difference of 180°. The material object of the proposed antenna is fabricated and a higher precision lithography process is used in this process, contributing to improve the performance of the proposed antenna in the high frequency.
