GaAs-Based Compact THz Filtering Power Divider With Low Insertion Loss And High Isolation

In this paper, a miniaturized Terahertz (THz) microstrip Filtering Power Divider (FPD) topology is introduced and designed by using GaAs Integrated Passive Devices (IPD) process with a size of only 1.084 × 0.864 mm

. The EM simulations have demonstrated that the working frequency is 103 GHz ~ 113.2 GHz, both the input and output return loss are better than 15 dB, the insertion loss is no more than 0.84 dB and the isolation between the output ports remained above 21.9 dB.
