A New Event-Triggered Scheme For Output Feedback Control Design of Nonlinear Systems With Actuator Failure

This paper focuses on solving the problem of event-triggered static output feedback controller design for nonlinear systems prone to external disturbances and actuator failures. It is proposed to implement an improved event-triggering mechanism to conserve network resources effectively. By employing the linear matrix inequality approach with an appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, the analysis establishes sufficient conditions to ensure the stability of the closed-loop system with a

level of
$H_{\infty}$
performance against external disturbances. Additionally, a decoupling matrix procedure is used to synthesize the controller. As a final step, numerical simulations of the lateral dynamics of the vehicle are used to illustrate the theoretical developments.
