Study of Investment Feasibility for Smart Bus Stations at Silpakorn University

This work is an analysis of investment feasibility of smart bus stations at Silpakorn University. The proposed consists of 4 main parameters: initial cost, operating cost, maintenance cost, and equipment rental income, respectively. Consequently, those variables are used to analyze the investment value incorporated with the economic analysis tools, such as NPV, IRR, BCR, DPB, etc. Furthermore, we assigned that the project has a lifetime of 10 years, and a discount rate of 5.50%. In addition, the sensitivity analysis is also conducted with a service rate from 0 to 3 THB, and equipment rental income of 1,200,000 THB per year, with a 2.6% increase in the service rate every 3 years. The analyzed results indicated that the construction of the smart bus stations project is suitable to worth the investment. Finally, it could be concluded that the project has more convenient to invest with a service rate of 2 THB.
