Study on the Antibacterial Effect Based on ZIF-8@RF@Ag Reagent

ZIF-8 (Zn-MOF) is a metal-organic framework prepared by the reaction of zinc ions and dimethylimidazole. It has good physical and chemical properties and has broad application prospects in the field of bacterial infection. In this study, low-cost Ag@RF@ZIF-8 (ZRA) was developed by a one-pot method with high antibacterial capacity. Ag@RF@ZIF-8 nanocomposits were successfully prepared and further proved by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), ultraviolet visible (UV-vis) spectroscopy, and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. In vitro antibacterial experiments showed that Ag@RF@ZIF-8 had a strong antibacterial activity against E.coli and S.aureus. Therefore, the low-cost e has potential application in bacterial infections.
