Model Stress Test of the Russian Economy with a Collapse in Energy Exports

The long-term macroeconomic multiplier effects of foreign sanctions pressure on the domestic fuel and energy industries are being studied. A scenario approach and calculations on an inter-industry model were used. The results of the calculations showed that the fall in Russian energy exports and the reduction in investment in the fuel industries can significantly slow down the development of the country's economy.
