Evaluation of USVs’ Combat Capability Based on Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method

At present, with the rapid development of unmanned technology, unmanned equipment has been widely used in combat practice, and accurate evaluation of the combat capability of its equipment can guide the accurate use of equipment. And presently, there is a lack of research on the evaluation of the combat effectiveness of unmanned vehicles. From the point of view of confrontation between the two sides in the sea combat, this paper analyzed the critical factors that affect the operational capabilities of unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) and built a comprehensive capability evaluation index system. The weights of each evaluation index were determined by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), and the impact factors of USVs completing sea combat missions were comprehensively analyzed. A model was constructed using the Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method to solve and verify the evaluation. The results show that this method can effectively conduct quantitative evaluations of the operational capabilities of USVs, and can serve as a reference for subsequent equipment efficacy evaluations in sea combat.
