Design and Analysis of a Computer Generated Holographic Barcode System Using Advance Fresnel Algorithm

A computer-generated hologram (CGH) is created in this study without the need of optical lenses, making it a promising technology for the development of a secure barcode system. Here, a barcode system has been created with the use of an advance Fresnel algorithm for the aim of secure barcoding that makes use of a variety of images instead of textual information. We present a technique in which the primary object image and the reference object image are both converted into digital holograms and then encoded to produce a third hologram. To reconstruct the original hologram of the primary object image, we decode the third hologram and locate the image inside it. The advance Fresnel algorithm generated the hologram by summing the near-field amplitudes of images of the primary object and the reference object. Holographic barcode is the name given to the usage of this hologram in the form of a barcode. This assertion is supported by simulation results, such as the correlation coefficient, which indicate that the system is highly safe to use.
