Wearable Antenna For Off-body Communication

We describe a 2.45/3.45 GHz dual band wearable antenna (shape- folded rectangular ring shaped) for off body communication that features a direct radiation pattern. The suggested antenna is developed with dual substrate: for base, a high conductivity, textile material that is used to connect it with the felt material and a bended rectangular curve-shaped antenna serves according the major radiator which is constructed on a high gain firm substrate. To stop unintentional electromagnetic radiation from travelling towards the human body conductive textile is utilized as a shield as well as it also acts as a ground plane. Due to the felt material we get a soft and cozy base surface. The antenna's efficiency has been tested and it exhibits excellent efficiency in every open space environment as well as phantom environment. The human body is observed and the calculated gain is 7.28- 7.49 in frequency range 2.45-2.95GHz and 7.5-7.99 in frequency range 2.95-3.45GHz. In farfield analysis the main lobe magnitude ranges (-2.63)- (-3.38) dBi for 2.45 -3.45 GHz.
