A novel microwave photonic circuit switch design using Period-one nonlinear semiconductor laser dynamics

A novel Microwave photonic circuit switch design is proposed and demonstrated using P1 nonlinear semiconductor laser dynamics. Channel selection can be optically adjusted by controlling the injection parameters. We have also demonstrated that our design can greatly enhance the input signal quality through the optical modulation depth improvement.
