Seamless Grid Transfer Scheme for Distributed Generation Units Utilizing The Generalized Voltage Droop Control Scheme

This study conducts an analytical investigation of an inverter using generalized droop control (GDC) and improves GDC synchronization part. The proposed approach simplifies the synchronization part of GDC to deliver a satisfactory control performance. This feature enables the inverter utilizing GDC to exhibit noticeably smoother output voltage and frequency changes during grid outages. The analysis and comparison between the improved GDC and droop control are described. Also, a simplified GDC transfer function is derived. The study assertions are proven by simulation results.
