Increasing the Efficiency of Lighting Objects in the Urban Environment

The work evaluates the effectiveness of internal lighting of buildings in the urban environment of Ukraine in accordance with the EN15193:2006 standard. The assessment was carried out based on the calculation of the value of the Lighting Energy Numeric Indicator followed by a parametric analysis of the factors that affect the value of this indicator. As an object of research, the lighting installations of internal lighting of buildings of social, cultural, and domestic purpose will be considered. The subject of research is the search for an effective value of the ratio of parameters, which consider the geometric dimensions and characteristics of the premises (length, width, height, wall paint, window sizes and degree of daylight penetration, working hours, type of light sources, number, and power of lamps, as well as the control method of them). A comparative assessment of various lighting installation options was carried out based on the calculation of the Lighting Energy Numeric Indicator lighting energy efficiency indicator for various combinations of parameters. Based on the results of the calculations, they were ranked and ways of improving the efficiency of the lighting installations of social, cultural, and domestic buildings were evaluated.
