A High Voltage and High Power PCDU for Space

To meet the demand for high power, miniaturized and highly integrated power supply systems for GEO orbiting satellites. A new Power Control and Distribution Unit (PCDU) was developed. The PCDU uses a 100V fully regulated primary bus architecture, and the power control part adopts two-domain regulation technology. The PCDU has a maximum output power of 14.4kW and supports dual electric thrusters to work simultaneously. the PCDU integrates BCRB, power distribution, temperature collector, pyrotechnic control and heater distribution. The power distribution section can be customized according to the type and quantity of power distribution required by the user. the PCDU adopts a modular design and uses the LVDS bus for information transmission between modules. Different combinations of modules can meet the requirements of different power satellite power systems in GEO orbit.
