Efficient Calculation of the Radiation of Wires with Arbitrary Trajectories in Cavities

In this contribution a new method to calculate the scattering and radiation of thin wires in different environments is generalized and applied to the problem of the field and source interactions for a wire with arbitrary trajectory in a rectangular cavity. First introduced in [1] the Method of Small Scatterer (MSS) uses an analytic regularization approach to efficiently calculate the scattering currents and fields in electrical large, thin and straight wires and slots in cavities. In [2] the MSS is generalized for arbitrary trajectories by introducing a local coordinate system as depicted in Fig. 1a, where one axis coincides with the wire center.
