Building Human Digital Twins: Cases for Intelligence and Security Informatics

Digital Twin technologies promise to transform business operations, enhance modeling capabilities, and improve safety and security. Human Digital Twins (HDTs) are physical representations and virtual models of humans to accurately track human motion, perception, and activities, but their application to ISI is still limited. This paper provides a review of developments in DTs and presents two cases of building and applying HDTs to social cybersecurity, intelligence monitoring and surveillance, and security informatics. Study findings, ongoing works, and future directions are discussed.
