Improved Visibility of LoRa Networks Using LoRa Performance Evaluation Tool

When working with computer networks, it is always beneficial to know about certain events, as soon as possible. This information gives network administrators time to solve the problem before it significantly affects network performance or security. Early warning is the main reason for implementing event logging and data evaluation. Once these issues are resolved, an alert can be archived so that we can use the information to analyze patterns of behavior. The main goal of this paper is to improve network visibility for long-range (LoRa) networks by implementing additional attributes and improving the readability of the existing ones that are already implemented in the LoRa Performance Evaluation Tool (LoPET). The proposed changes make the application faster (shorter SQL queries), and easier to navigate, in terms of the complexity of the user interface. They also expanded the logging functionality, which is essential to improve further network monitoring of LoRa devices.
