Modeling and Analysis of Displacement Sensing Based on Bond-Graph Approach Using Linear Variable Differential Transformer Sensors

The examination of the dynamic features of the Linear Variable Differential Transformer (LVDT) is conducted by employing the bond graph model across a range of operating situations. The present study aims to investigate the relationships between input displacement and output voltage. Additionally, the study will explore the potential impacts of various parameters, including excitation frequency and number of turns, on these relationships. The accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed bond graph model in describing the behaviour of the LVDT is demonstrated through simulations and experimental validation.
