Internet-Based Control System of Things on Cylinder Regulator for Safety from LPG Gas Leak Hazards

Consumption of using LPG cylinders has become a major human need for daily needs. But behind its use, there are dangers that can occur at any time when using LPG cylinders. Lack of concern for maintaining and monitoring LPG cylinder installations can have a large impact on losses. To detect LPG gas leaks, researchers used the MQ-6 sensor and the Arduino Uno microcontroller. The MQ-6 sensor is an input device that can receive data in the form of LPG gas levels. While Arduino Uno is a processing tool that receives data from sensors to be processed and outputs results in the form of information on detected gas leak levels and follow-up actions in the form of a rotating regulator valve and detached from the LPG gas cylinder. This action applies automatically if the detected gas level is more than 5 ppm. There is also an Android-based application that displays real-time detected gas levels, as well as an action button to rotate the regulator valve.
