The Strategy for Increasing the Exchange Rate of Traditional Erorejo Fishermen Using the Fuzzy Transform and Fuzzy Times Series Methods

After the COVID-19 pandemic, several regional problems emerged in the Erorejo freshwater fisherman group in Indonesia, namely the difficulty in marketing freshwater fish products and the production of floating cage cultivation has decreased by 30-35%. This study aims to increase the exchange rate of Erorejo freshwater fishermen by using the Fuzzy Transform and Fuzzy Times Series methods. We determine patterns and historical data series and extrapolate these patterns as predictions of future conditions. The prediction process is carried out to reduce errors and is used for decision-making in planning activities for future freshwater fish fishermen's welfare. The results showed that the prediction results with the Fuzzy Transform and Fuzzy Time Series approaches obtained the smallest error values at order 6 MAPE of 0.271%, d1 0.273, and d2 0.996. On average, the predicted results of freshwater fishermen's exchange rate using this method at Order 6 are in the fairly high growth category. This shows an increase compared to before using this method, namely the exchange rate of freshwater fishermen in the medium category.
