Study on the Mould Formation Method of High Power Electric Fracturing Pump

High-power electric fracturing pumping units are currently commonly used in shale oil and gas fields. Their large capacity and high volatility significantly impact the voltage of the distribution network. This paper first develops a six-phase induction motor model for a 5500HP fracturing pump, followed by a 24-pulse wave rectification and NPC three-level inverter model based on a triangle extension connection. The developed model can prepare to respond to the electric fracturing pump behavior. On this basis, the IEEE-33 node distribution network is used to study the impact of the fracturing pump on the distribution network voltage after it is connected to the distribution network.
