Identification of Vulnerable Components Link in Electric-Gas Coupling Integrated Energy System Based on Maximum Flow Theory

With the rapid advancement of technology, integrated energy systems have emerged as a promising approach for constructing sustainable and low-carbon energy systems. However, due to the intricate coupling among multiple energy subsystems, the operation of these systems is subject to higher requirements regarding stability and safety. In this paper, we propose a method for identifying vulnerable components in integrated energy systems with electric-gas coupling under intentional attacks, using the maximum flow theory. Specifically, we derive the distribution factor of gas network flow transmission, incorporate the upper limit of line capacity, and establish line transmission contribution indices based on maximum flow theory and node transmission contribution indices based on entropy theory. These indices are utilized to identify the vulnerable components of the integrated energy system.
