Evaluating the IT-Based Project Management Maturity Level in PT XYZ, Indonesia

Project management is an important discipline in a project-based company. It provides guidelines about how to do planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of projects. Project management maturity model allow organizations to evaluate and score their current project management practice. PT. XYZ is a project based company. However, the evaluation about the maturity of its project management practice has not been done. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the company XYZ's project management maturity level using Kerzner's model so that PT. XYZ can measure how effective their current practice is and what needs to be improved. about the sample provided to the 11 respondents. The result shows that XYZ's project management maturity level is at the ‘Common Process' maturity level. There are two life cycles which have scores that don't meet the requirements. It also can explain why there are some projects that delayed in the first quarter 2023. Therefore, it is recommended that PT.XYZ makes improvements in those areas to be able to operate at its highest level
