Numerical Method for Coil Magnetic Field of Traveling-Wave Tube

The focusing system of traveling wave tube is used to control the electron beam to ensure good pass ability during the whole interaction process. Based on MTSS-MFS,

special simulation permanent magnet focusing system software developed by UESTC, a method for calculating coil magnetic field is studied in this paper. The maximum error of the calculated results is less than 3% and the average error is less than 1% compared with the result calculated by Maxwell, the mainstream industrial software.
