Design and Implementation of an Intelligent Indoor Brightness Control System using ESP-8266 Microcontroller

This paper presents an intelligent control system for indoor brightness, designed based on the ESP8266 development board. The system combines conventional control methods with automatic adjustment of indoor brightness based on environmental detection, and features the function of remote control based on the MQTT communication protocol. Experimental results demonstrate that the system can effectively adjust brightness in response to instructions, whether issued remotely or locally. In automatic mode, the system can adapt to various indoor conditions and adjust brightness accordingly. The system is sensitive to environmental factors and shows promising practicality for indoor brightness control in the future. Overall, the proposed system provides a robust and intelligent solution for indoor brightness control, leveraging the capabilities of the ESP8266 development board and MQTT communication protocol.
