A Positioning Method for Pavers and Compactors Under Non-Satellite Positioning Conditions

Being aimed at the problem of relative positioning between pavers and rollers in non-satellite environments such as tunnels during highway construction, a method of relative positioning between machines based on laser radar is proposed. Firstly, on the basis of the problem modeling analysis, the overall scheme design is performed, and the radar data segmentation, data fitting, and pose calculation methods based on the reflector are studied. Also, the test platform is constructed and tested in the laboratory environment. The test results show that the method can effectively realize the relative positioning between dissimilar devices, and the positioning accuracy can comply with the requirements of practical applications.
