The listing price prediction of used sailboats based on LM-BP Neural Network

In recent years, with the rise of sailing sports, the number of second-hand sailboats has been growing rapidly, and how to accurately and quickly assess the listing price of second-hand sailboats has become a difficult problem facing the second-hand sailboat market. In order to accurately and quickly predict the listing price of used sailboats, this paper proposes a prediction model based on LM-BP neural network, which adopts the fastest descent method and adjusts the weights and thresholds of the network by back propagation (BP). Due to the combination of the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm with the BP neural network, the model outperforms the ordinary BP neural network model. Experiments show that the model is able to predict the listing price of used sailboats well with an accuracy of 95.34%, which is significantly higher than the ordinary BP neural network.
