The Motion Adaptive Intra Refresh Algorithm

Low-latency video coding is a key technology for real-time video communication applications, which can effectively reduce the communication delay of the system. Aiming at the problem of low encoding quality in the low-latency intra-frame refresh coding mode, this paper proposes a motion-adaptive intra-frame refresh encoding algorithm. Compared with the traditional algorithm, which only relies on the fixed-direction refresh strategy for encoding, the proposed algorithm introduces the motion vector information in video encoding, and the most suitable refresh strategy can be freely selected in different areas of the video. This paper describes the algorithm steps and implementation details of the algorithm, proves the effectiveness of the algorithm through experiments, and analyzes the time complexity of coding.
