The Influence of Gamification on Quran Reading Learning

This paper examines the impact of gamification on Quran reading learning through an analysis of the QuranLab mobile application. The application was developed using a waterfall model, and gamification was implemented through the Octalysis framework. The effectiveness of the app was evaluated using the HMSAM model, which employs a Likert scale. The findings of the study revealed that gamification resulted in 80,17% of participants expressing their intention to continue using the application in the future and 84,83 % strongly agreed that the app provided an enjoyable user experience. These compelling findings provide evidence for the positive influence of gamification on Quran reading learning and offer valuable insights for the development of effective mobile applications for religious education.
