Research and Application of Vulnerability Detection Technology for Power Grid Intelligent Terminal Protocol Based on High Order Attribute Grammar

With the advancement of the smart grid, various terminal devices such as smart meters, intelligent distribution terminals, and collection concentrators are widely used, providing remote measurement and control, mobile operations, and customer service, and have become an important component of the smart grid. The IoT terminals in the power grid are characterized by intelligence, networking, and interactivity, and are often deployed in uncontrolled environments. There are security risks such as physical protection being difficult to ensure, real-time interactive control instructions being tampered with, and insufficient attack monitoring methods, which pose a huge challenge to the security of the power grid. Based on the context semantic relationship of the Internet of Things terminal protocol in power grid, this paper proposes to design a terminal protocol Parse tree based on higher-order attribute grammar. Through the association analysis of the context semantics and node variation, and according to the terminal message interaction response, the in-depth mining of protocol vulnerabilities is realized, which effectively overcomes the problems of low protocol vulnerability coverage and vulnerability mining efficiency of the traditional vulnerability mining technology that does not consider semantics. This technology can effectively detect and block in a timely manner, avoiding attackers from implementing network attacks on the smart grid by controlling power IoT terminals, leading to grid security incidents.
