Research on Remote Update Method of DSP28335 Program Based on CAN Bus

In order to improve the efficiency of DSP program update and reduce the maintenance cost of equipment, this paper takes TMS320F28335 as an example to propose a method for updating remotely the application program based on CAN bus. Firstly, the process of DSP startup is clearly introduced in section II. Then, the principle for updating the application program remotely has been elaborated in section III, including the application program, the bootloader program and relationship between them. Finally, we have clarified the specific steps of this method in section IV. This paper provides a convenient and reliable method of updating program remotely for DSP developers and maintainers.
