A Bandgap Voltage Reference with Self-buffered Loop Control Technology

A bandgap voltage reference (BGR) with self-buffered loop control technology is proposed in TSMC 0.18μm BCD process. By adopting self-buffered loop control technology, the proposed BGR achieves these performances including excellent stability, lower temperature coefficient and fast loop adjustment speed. Simulation results show that temperature coefficient of the proposed BGR is only 1.807 ppm/°C when temperature is changed from -45 °C to 125 °C. The proposed BGR achieves power supply rejection ratios (PSRRs) of -80.45 dB, -80.45 dB, -79.72 dB, -67.76 dB, -47.89 dB, -29.5 dB and -24 dB at 1 Hz, 10 Hz, 100 Hz, 1 kHz, 10 kHz, 100 kHz, 1 MHz respectively.
