Friction Mixing Welding Process Monitoring System

The article discusses the development and research of an experimental system for monitoring the parameters of the friction-mixing welding process (FSW) to obtain welded joints according to specified technological parameters. To implement this system, a technical specification has been developed, including the necessary requirements for an experimental installation, monitoring and control system; equipment has been developed for fixing workpieces and installing sensors. The developed monitoring system includes a measuring system (sensors), signal converters and software for displaying and recording readings. Experimental studies on the FSW of steel, aluminum and copper with elements of the monitoring system were carried out.
