Experiments on the Measurement of the Electromagnetic Field

This work presents aspects related to the protection that must be provided to workers against safety and health risks when they are exposed to electromagnetic fields. A series of experimental determinations carried out in the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) laboratory are presented. The purpose of the tests is to determine the level of the electromagnetic field registered in the room under conditions where measurements are not carried out. We considered the dedicated testing equipment was turned off during the experiments. We measured the level of the electromagnetic field to check if it exceeds the maximum limit imposed by Directive 2013/35/EU. This directive regulates the maximum limits allowed at the level of the European Union. These limits are applicable to all member and partner countries.
