IEEE CNS 23 Poster: Cooperative Omnidirectional Beamformation for THz Band Phy-Security

Cellular technology’s rapid evolution from 2G to 6G improves coverage, affordability, and speed [1]. However, meeting burgeoning device demands with QoS (Quality-of-Service) provisions still becomes challenging [2]. With the growing demand for robust, high-speed communication, THz (Terahertz) communication security has become a serious concern [3], [4]. We introduced a cooperative beamforming strategy to improve THz communication security using cooperative antenna beamforming and jamming to enhance system integrity and prevent disruptions. We narrowed our attention to the omnidirectional beamforming radiation methodology to assess the findings and determine whether the method offers a viable option for secure THz communication. The following summary outlines research contributions and motivating factors for this endeavor.
