Research on food system based on EPSE optimization model

Food is related to the national economy and people's livelihood, and the efficient production and supply of food depends on the efficient operation of food system. Stability is the premise of its efficient operation. The existing food system is unstable, which has a negative impact on the environment and people's health. In order to optimize the composition of existing food system and improve the stability of food system. Based on the existing food system, this paper uses EPSE optimization model to study. In order to measure the stability of food system numerically, the robustness parameters of food system are introduced. Firstly, 14 secondary indicators related to food system were selected from four primary indicators: efficiency (EFI), profitability (PRI), sustainability (SUI) and fairness (EQI). Then, entropy weight method (EWM) and coefficient of variation method (CVM) were used to integrate the indicators into the robustness parameters (RFS) of food system, and then the evaluation model was constructed. According to the principle of minimum information entropy, the EPSE optimization model is obtained by optimizing the improved food system. Comparing the weights of the first-level indicators before and after optimization, we can find that the weights of SUI and EQI increase, while the weights of EFI and PRI decrease.
